The GROW Model, developed by Sir John Whitmore in 1992, stands for Goal, Reality, Options, and Way Forward. This model transforms what could be a chaotic discussion into a clear path toward meaningful results.


Why I Use It


The GROW Model serves as the backbone for every coaching session I lead. It provides clarity and direction to our conversations while encouraging deep exploration of topics. For instance, I’ve used it with clients navigating a career transition who needed to define their professional goals. By breaking these goals into smaller steps within the framework, one client was able to launch their own successful business within six months.


This model meets clients where they are, whether they are trying to articulate new objectives or require actionable steps to move ahead.
